Oil and Gas Production - Eastern Shore Microbes

Oilfield Produced Water and Brine Management

Eastern Shore Microbes H.E.A.T. process was originally tested using Oil field production brine.

H.E.A.T. caused the produce brine in a small pond to gain nearly 15C (590 F) above ambient temperatures in a single day! The brine reached 68o C (nearly 154o F). In large ponds where the volume influenced the rate of heating H.E.A.T. cultures have achieved 10o C above ambient. This excess energy causes rapid additional evaporation normally faster than fresh water or untreated controls. In a recent analysis, using West Texas Evaporation rates the acceleration from H.E.A.T. would allow evaporating over 20,000 barrels of brine per day from only 30 acres of ponds vs. nearly 256 acres without H.E.A.T.

Since our Industrial Brine Solution works in large and small systems even these 30 acres could be distributed into smaller less expensive ponds that are close to the production sites and easy to reach. Unlike injection wells or other treatment systems H.E.A.T. does not require external energy (only sunlight and metabolism), is safe for the surrounding environment, does not produce toxic fumes and limits a company’s liability.

Why not employ our environmentally safe microbial mixes safely to:

  • Eliminating odors
  • Providing a 90% reduction of organics (including oil contaminants).
  • Carry the system to dryness or allow increased use of a single pond.
  • Accelerates the brine evaporation rate the final concentrates by 10 fold.
  • Oil Wells
